Helen Salerno was the fourth child of Frank and Teresa Salerno. Helen attended Seton School of Nursing, Colorado Springs, married Samuel A. Lopez in 1943, raised four children, travelled widely and is presently active in her local church and thirty-one years with the United States Air Force, retiring with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant from McChord A.F.B., Tacoma, Washington, in which city they reside. He works full-time for a Volkswagen-Porsche-Audi dealership. They have four children, and nine grandchildren as follows!
Samuel B. (b.1944), who holds a degree in special education from U. of Northern Colorado in Greeley, resides in New Jersey with wife Laurie and their four children: Elizabeth 16, Michael 13, Erica 10, and Stephen 8. He works for Bonwitt-Teller in New York City.
Carole A. (b. 1947), who holds an R.N. from Seton School of Nursing, Colorado Springs, resides in Lewiston, Maine with husband Edward Quinn and children: Amy 12, and Jeffery 10. She is employed by Bates College and St. Mary’s Hospital
