Hi everyone. I am researching the geneology of my family. One side is the Sturges side. I have family information that my gguncle, Henry Sturges came to Colorado and started a newspaper called the Trinidad Daily News. I have been unable to find any info on this newspaper. It would have been anywhere from 1850 to about 1875. He then moved to Oregon with his family for his health. I don't know his wife's name or if they had children. He had a sister named Mary Catherine Sturges who was born in New York. She married Alfred K. Frazier. If anyone out there has any information, please email me. Thanks so much...Jan Anderson[:I]
