Hello. My name is Jennifer DeLeon and I am looking for our lost Martinez family.

Parents: Abel Martinez and Teresa Vigil born in Trinidad, CO
Children: Alfonso, Abel, Conrad, Leo, Ricardo, Ester, Joci, Alvina, Rosa, and Celia Martinez.

My great grandfather was Alfonso Martinez and was born in Trinidad, CO (1896), married Clara Herrera, and moved to Clayton, NM (Union County) and died in 1937. His kids names are Ida, Beatrice, Viginia, and Donald Martinez.

I don't know that this is your family, but there is a baptism record in Parkview, NM (including Ojo, NM) Baptisms, FHL film 0016-850, p. 47 of the Hispanic Genealogy Research Centery of NM (HGRC-NM) for an ABEL MARTINEZ, baptized in teh Church of San Jose de Los Ojos on 30 Dec 1885, legitimate s/o Ricardo Martinez and Perfilia Delgado, from Brazos. The child born 16 Dec 1885. Padrinos: Fancisco Abeyta & Gertrudes Sanchez.
