Elaine Thompson, 85, of Ft. Collins passed away on December 25, 2005 in Loveland. She was born to Vernie Calvin and Minnie Catherine (Bird) Robb on September 5, 1920 in Ford, KS. She attended Trinidad High School. Elaine was married to William A. Thompson on November 9, 1938 in Raton, NM. She lived in Trinidad, CO most of her life, having moved to Ft. Collins in April of 2005. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Trinidad, CO. She enjoyed traveling. Elaine loved her grandchildren and was like a mother to them.
She is survived by her son A. Wayne Thompson of Denver, CO; brothers, Gerald Robb of Trinidad, CO and Harold Robb of Thousand Oaks, CA; sister Mildred Evans of Cheyenne, WY; 5 grandchildren, Wayne M. Thompson (Janet), Kirk A. Thompson (Cindy), Cynthia E. Clark (Dan), William L. Thompson (Kris), Debra L. Gasaway (James); and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Calvin and Verne Robb, sisters Leah Pauline Garner, Dorothy Scott, and Mary King.
Visitation is 4 to 7PM, Wednesday, December 28 at Allnutt Drake Chapel.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00AM, Thursday, December 29 at Ft. Collins Church of the Nazarene.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00AM, Friday, December 30 at Mullare-Murphy Funeral Home in Trinidad, CO with interment to follow at the Masonic Cemetery Association.
