Internet in Aguilar

Could anyone tell me what the internet (dialup, cable or dsl)providers are in Aguilar? Thanks!

Virtually all of the MAJOR brand name dial up providers are available in both Trinidad and Aguilar I don't believe there is ANY DSL available but my be cable in certain areas....ComputerCowboy am I correct here?

Thanks Usmorlans, I tried to find information on both the qwest and adelphia websites but they are quite worthless when it comes to supplying service areas.

Currently, no high-speed internet service of any kind is available in Aguilar, so if you can't live with dial-up you'll have to invest in a satellite dish. I check in with all the DSL providers every couple of months and, so far, they aren't even offering a guess as to if/when they'll supply service here. Not an attractive enough potential customer base to justify the investment, I reckon.

Part of the problem is equipment for DSL. The lines and switch equipment in the entire Southern part of the state is VERY old and won't handle the transmissions needed to have DSL.

i live in aguilar, and all i am aware of is dial-up and satelite...satelite is good as long as you don't play online games...the lag is too much for you to have a decent ping rate...dial up is tolerable for gaming, but again sometimes (not as often as w/ satelite) the ping can be high.

Try Local Net it is only 9.95 a month or for local net express which is 6 times faster it is 12.95 Not a bad price, I have it and it seems to be fine!!!!
