Dorothy Mae Sebastiani, age 88, passed away on August 2, at the Trinidad State Nursing Home. She was born on February 3, 1915 to Matt and Veronica Sarson in Gardner, New Mexico. Dorothy attended and graduated from Trinidad High School. She was married on September 1, 1938 to Marco Sebastiani at Holy Trinity Church. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Church and faithfully prayed her rosary. While at the nursing home, she enjoyed playing Bingo and visiting with her many relatives and friends.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Marco, brothers Matt and Milan Sarson. She is survived by her children, Joseph (Charlene) Sebastiani of San Francisco, Calif., Veronica (Richard) Mosher of Trinidad and Mary Grace Rupert of Raton, New Mexico, grandchildren, Charlee Jo, Michelle, Monique, Marc, Maree, Jennifer (James) Butch, Stacey (Blaine) Eubanks, great grandchildren, Brandon, Luke, Phillip, Karrigian and Jenesee and her many relatives and friends.
Visitation for Dorothy will be held on Wednesday, August 6 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mullare-Murphy Funeral Home Chapel. A rosary is scheduled for Thursday, August 7 at 9 a.m. at the Chapel. A Funeral Mass will follow at the Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 a.m. Father Phil Coury will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Trinidad Catholic Cemetery.
Active pallbearers are Richard Mosher, Mark Mosher, James Butch, Blaine Eubanks and Josh Frashuer. Honorary pallbearers will be all her good friends.
The family entrusts the arrangements of Dorothy Mae Sebastiani to the Mullare-Murphy Funeral Home.
