2nd Annual Stonewall Fall Festival !!

Anyone know if the 2nd Annual Stonewall Fall Festival is scheduled yet? I can't seem to find any information on it. It was to take place 3rd weekend in Sept. at Monument Lake Park.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks Pete! I called and it is scheduled for all day Saturday, September 23rd at Monument Lake Park.

Hope to see some of you there! Last year was awesome.

The event is not highly advertised; not sure why. It is listed on the Calendar of Events page of www.monumentlakepark.com

DB, Jaquie Gipson on her homepage shows that she will be appearing at Stonewall Fall Festival on September 23rd.

Jaquie is my favorite. The Monument Lake website didn't post as much detail about the fest this year. No line up.

Last year the entrance fee was $5. There were a couple booths with really good food. Music started at about noon or so. There were other attractions like story telling, wildlife education sessions, etc. And of course beer [:o)]

Pretty cool that some things are reasonably preserved; anyone know what year the Monument Lake Lodge was built? Here's a pic estimated to be about 1930-38. (Kendall Community House.)

Cool picture DB. Still looks the same today. I spent a long winter camp inside there in the 60's in scouts. The huge fireplace kept us warm.
