    Time to Hit the Gym/Treadmill/bowflex

I feel like I making an early resolution. After all of that turkey and fixin's and more holidays around the corner I think it is time to hit the treadmill and bowflex. Really have to hit the bowflex - my old bones have been aching. Anyone else feel like that after that big feast

Kim, I will have to check that out. At one point I wanted to get a tread climber. Ended up getting a treadmill. Works just fine - gets the heart rate up - really don't have room for more exercise equipment but it doesn't hurt to look.

Enjoy your visit with your family![8D]

Working out always makes me feel better than when I'm just sitting on my a**. I must not be a strong enough influence on AFrush cuz he doesn't follow my lead:(. Oh well, you can't win them all.

    I must confess, I was bad today - didn't get a work out in.[V]

Missing, that is true, you get a workout if you want one or not. I will pass on your invitation and stick to the treadmill and bowflex. I was bad again today, but was determined to make those ravoli. It had been a long time since we made them. We must have spent at least 3 hours making them. Between the ravoli and laundry it has been a busy day. I'm pooped.

Valfonso, you own a BowFlex too? I've owned one since 2002, and I LOVE that machine. However, it's getting a lot of wear-n-tear so I might sell it or trade it in for a newer one before long.

I've lost a lot of weight and gained a lot of muscle definition using that machine. My only gripe about it though, is that the machine is slightly clumsy. But either than that, it's a wonderful piece of equipment to get in shape.

Just like you, I'm making early resolutions too. Because I totally ate like a pig for Thanksgiving and all throughout this past weekend, I'm going back to my dieting plans on Monday...and hope to stay on them until at least the 20th of December. That way, I can pig out all over again until New Year's. LOL

I've been eating tons of pie and other sweets all weekend long and my body isn't used to all the sugar and carbs. My head has been hurting, my eye sight is dim, I'm tired, drowsy, and my bones have also been aching. I can't handle huge amounts of carbs so that is why I stick to a low carb diet plan throughout the year.

I plan on getting back on the BowFlex plus working out on Winsor Pilates come January. I have a lot of problems with my right leg though and I'm wondering if I have osteo-arthritis. The only thing that helps my leg is an exercise bike. But my previous bike broke down several months back and so I'm hoping to get a new one quite soon. Maybe if I'm lucky, I'll get one for Christmas.
