    Where's the Beef on Apple's?

I've had my ever true Mac for approx. 5 years....
and I have just recently connected to the internet (via broadband) this month....

I adore my Mac but I am concerned about internet protection.

I know PC users have to get Norton for protection...
I think that Mac has built in firewalls (which I've turned on in my
system pref file) and I reset safari from time to time...
    but do I need more?

I feel so isolated when it comes to the Mac community...
    Any info?
    Anyone?
    Hello?
I am all alone except for my echo......

BlueBraided, Welcome! According to most IT folks your MAC is not very vulnerable to attack. It is a huge plus. Something Microsoft the creator of Windows has long tried to copy and supposedly have done so in the new version called Vista. The jury is out on that at this point still. In the Trinidad area there are a few MAC users but that I know of most of the folks on the forum use Windows. I can connect you to some of the other MAC users if you like in the area and there are forums for MAC users readily found on the web.
