Actually the "painted canyon" I refered to is in Pinon Canyon. It was painted by an old hermit/artist that lived in the canyon. He painted life size pictures of things and people he saw. I've seen the paintings even the portraits of "Buffalo Bill". Life magazine wrote an artical about this area in the late 70's.
I just learned recently from Denver news that this area had already been taken years back. I was curios if anyone else has had the chance to see the paintings before they became targets?
