Eloise Davidson
Beloved lifelong partner and wife of Robert C. Davidson, recently of Trinidad, CO.
Passed away on February 25, 2007 at the age of 88. She was born on April 10, 1918 in Lansing, Michigan to Cass J. and Minnie B. Baker. She graduated from Lansing Eastern High School and Michigan State College (now Michigan State University) where she received a BS degree in Home Economics. In 1942 she married Robert C. Davidson, her high school sweetheart. Eloise and Robert were stationed at McDill Field in Tampa,
Florida during WWII where Eloise worked on the base while Robert went overseas as First Sergeant with the 3rd Photo Unit of the Army Air Corps, stationed in the South Pacific.
Eloise was a member of Alpha Xi Delta Sorority, Arbutus Chapter #45 Order of.Eastern.Star, Lansing Sparrow Hospital Auxiliary, and the Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ Women's Fellowship.
Besides Lansing, Michigan, Eloise also lived at her family's home at Higgins Lake in Michigan for many years.
She is survived by her husband, daughters Mrs. Fred (Harriet) Vaugeois of Trinidad and Mrs. Gerald (Roberta) Colaner of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and grandson Rene Vaugeois of San Dimas, California.
Memorial Service will be conducted by Rev. Gary Gardner at the Mullare-Murphy Funeral Home, Saturday, March 17 at 3 PM.
