    Martorano family

I had such great help with my mom's side, I thought I would try to find something on my dad's. I don't know if it's possible, but maybe someone has some info.

My great grandmother was Giuseppa Fillipa Martorano from Italy. My great grandfather was Erasmo Balardeta (Vellardita) from Italy. They came over in 1907. I am trying to find out their lineage. I don't know if it is at all possible. But I thought I would try. They settled in Sopris, Colorado. I know that there are Martoranos still in Trinidad. Maybe one of them reads this and might have some information. Thanks, Frank

I am currently looking for information on my family with a very similar name, Moterano. However, the census reports that I have seen spell it differently. If I recall correctly one of them was Martorano. So my question to you is, are you certain of the spelling?
This is my great-grandmothers last name and I know she had many siblings. Her name was Lucilla (Lucy). Born in 1900. ANd they were in the Trinidad area for the 1910 census.
I am currently waiting on an email from my Father with census info etc. Hopefully, we'll be able to help one another.
