The woman looks like my grandmother but I can't tell the Man and Child.

Hi crtenorio1, I am Charlene Shreves & I am the one who had Dodie post this picture. This picture was taken in Trinidad,Colo because Fisher's Peak is in the back ground. I found this in some pictures that were taken out of my Aunt Ruth's house when she moved to Colo. Did any of your family know A.T Hughes,Stella Taylor Hughes,Ruth Hughes or any of the "Amidon" family? Ruth Hughes was the daughter of A.T Hughes & Stella Hughes.Ruth married a fellow by the name of Orville Amidon. I would assume this picture was taken somewhere in the 1940's but not sure.A.T. Hughes & Stella Hughes are my Grandparents & they built a cabin right outside of Trinidad. In fact KCRT built their Radio station just shortly after that right down from our cabin. There isn't any information on this picture at all.

None of those names sound familiar. I'm sorry. The woman looks like my grandmother, but her name was Elva Duran, She didn't know any of the Hughes that I know of.

Cyndi,Did your Grandmother ever live in Trinidad? When you bring up pictures like this it never hurts to ask questions like you have. As they say "Nothing ventured,nothing gained"

Char just sent me an update on the picture and thru her cousin was able to identify the individuals. The gentleman is A. T. Hughes with his daughter, Mary Ruth Hughes, sitting on his lap. Standing behind them is Helen Hughes, daughter of A. T. Hughes.

Thank you Dodie for updating my picture. Helen passed away when she was 16 years old. Mary Ruth Hughes is now in an Assisted living Home. A.T Hughes has passed away also.
