Charles J. Navarette, 86, went to be with our Lord on Nov. 21, 2008. Born Nov. 20, 1922, in Trinidad, Colo. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Domitilia Gonzales and Andy Navarette; brothers, Tony Navarette, Albert Navarette; sisters, Josephine Mogues, Florence Barela; loving wife, Demetria (Mitzi) Navarette; daughters, Carla Rae and Margaret Vivian. Charles is survived by his children, Charles P. Navarette, Thomas Navarette, Scott (Rhonda) Navarette and Renee (Pablo) Mora; grandchildren, Adam and Brian Navarette, Ashley Gonzales, Katrina Mora, Taylor Mora, Krisha Mora, Zach Norton and Talon Norton; great-grandchildren, Haley Marie Navarette and Alexander Navarette-Moody; brothers, Steve (Anna) Navarette, Ray Navarette, John (Beverly) Navarette and Ernie Navarette; sisters, Helen (Leo) Trujillo, Katherine (Lazaro) Pacheco and Gloria (Mike) Sanchez; special sister-in-law, Irene Gomez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives. Special thanks to Irene Chavez, Dr. Kyra Hootman, for the care they gave our father.
Viewing, will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, followed by the Rosary service at 7 p.m., both held at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at St. Francis Xavier Church. Interment to follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Arrangements through Imperial Funeral Home.
