Derrick Motel Tower

I found a picture in a music video and tracked it down to Trinidad. I am hoping I can find someone who would take photos of the tower at the Trinidad Motel. I would like to build one for my Mode Train layout. I could also use some detail pictures as well as measurements of the base from corner to corner. Some long shots and close up shots would be nice.

Welcome to the forum.

Even though the derrick is somewhat removed from the RR tracks it would make a neat model.

Here are a few images. The last two were taken on Saturday, the evening of July 24th. I got there before it started to rain. It rained all night. I heard it rained around 3 inches on Sunday, but by then I had already departed and headed back towards Pueblo.

The base appeared to be approximately 30 feet. Also, as you can see the name on the derrick has been changed to "RV PARK".
