Emiliano J. Valverde, 6, passed away July 21, 2010. He was born in Trinidad, Feb. 1, 2004, to Franchesca Hernandez and Horacio J. Valverde.

Emiliano was a sweet and loving child who embraced and loved everyone and everything.

He saw life as a beautiful thing no matter how "ugly" things could be.

Emiliano loved being with his brother and sister.

He liked school, fishing with his Dad, climbing trees and going to the arcade.

He liked to sing songs and dance with his Mom.

God sent us our beautiful, smart, sweet, amazing and loving Angel, who will be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by brother, Marco Valverde; grandfathers, Arturo Valverde and Larry Miera; great-grandfather, Manuel Hernandez; great-great-grandfather, Alfonso Sandoval.

Survivors are his parents, Franchesca Hernandez, Colorado Springs; Horacio J. Valverde, Segundo; sister, Ava Valverde, Colorado Springs; brother, Manuel Valverde, Segundo; grandparents, Katrina (Earl) Mayo, Colorado Springs; Mary (Joseph) Lucero, Cokedale; great-grandparents, Cindy Hernandez, Trinidad, Viola Jimenez, Iowa, Margaret (Ben) Montano, Segundo; great-great-grandmother, Mona Sandoval; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends who loved him.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at the Comi Funeral Home Chapel.

Vigil Rites will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010, at Holy Trinity Church.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Holy Trinity Church.

Interment will follow at the San Juan Cemetery in Segundo.

Active pallbearers are Tomas Hernandez, Leonard Lucero, Julian Montano, Jr., Earl Mayo and Andreas Hernandez.
