Ralph Maurice Chacon, 72, of Ione, Calif., died Saturday, May 26, 2012, in Lodi, Calif.
He was born on Feb. 4, 1940, in Segundo to Nash and Anna (Medina) Chacon. Ralph was a United State military veteran who served in the Air Force.
He married Donna L. Kent on Nov. 28, 1986 in San Lorenzo, Calif. Ralph worked as a chief financial officer for a health supplements company for 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Donna Chacon of Ione; his daughter, Renee Borges, and her husband, Ray, of Lubbock, Texas; his daughter, Valerie E. Duvall, and her husband, Bradd, of Brentwood, Tenn.; his son, Michael R. Chacon, and his wife, Elizabeth, of Northglenn; his son, Paul Chacon, of Thornton; his son, Christopher Chacon, and his wife, Samantha, of Arvada; and his son, Mike Chacon, and his wife, Marlene, of San Ramon, Calif.
Ralph is also survived by his stepdaughter, Kari Sullivan, and her husband, Patrick, of Livermore, Calif; 12 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to attend an 11 a.m. Saturday, June 16, celebration of life at Daneri Mortuary Chapel in Jackson, Calif., and an 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, Mass at St. Louis Catholic Church, 3310 S. Sherman Street in Englewood.
Following the Colorado Mass, a lunch reception take place at Dean Phillips Memorial VFW #5061, 5220 W. Warren Ave. in Denver. A military celebration and burial will take place at 2 p.m. June 29 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Ave. in Denver. Motorists will enter through Funeral Entrance North, and turn right on Kansas Street. Cars will file in procession to ceremony location Committal Shelter C. Coffee and dessert at VFW #5061 will follow the military ceremony.
