Maria Soledad Rico, 87 of Weston, Colo., entered into eternal rest on Feb. 17, 1997 in Pueblo, Colo., where she had made her home for a short time.

Born in Trinchera, Colo., June 27 1909, to the union of Baltazar Romero and Virgilia Madrid, who both predecease her. Also predeceased by her firstborn, son, Fred Rico; two sisters; one brother; one grandchild; one great grandchild; and son-in-law, Gilbert Bueno.

Survived by her beloved husband of 69 yrs, Reymundo Rico; and her children, Elvera (John) Roberto, Jacksonville, Fla., William (Anita) Rico, Cecilia Bueno, Anna (Glenn) Johnson, all of Pueblo, Rose (Guillermo) Guerrero, Seattle, Wash., Frederick Rico, Colorado Springs, Maria (Isaac) Archuleta, Northglenn, Colo., Phillip (Beatrice) Rico, Trinidad, Colo.; 36 grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members including Henry (Ercie) Tafoya, Segundo, Colo.

Prior to her illness, she was an active member of the Sacred Heart Society and Catholic Daughters.

Interment Trinidad Catholic Cemetery
