Corina Velasquez Quintero, 84, went to be with our Lord and Redeemer on March 6, 2003. She was born on July 4, 1918, at Ludlow, Colo. She was united in marriage to Trinidad Quintero. She resided in Ramey, Colo. until they moved to Aguilar, Colo., where she lived until her death.

She was a devoted mother to Pete (Mary) Quintero, Ernest (Ruby) Quintero, Ramona (Martin) Gonzales, all of Aguilar, Martin (Betty) Quintero, Trinidad and Daisy (Ted) Johnson, Michigan.

The caring, loving sister of Rose Martinez, Pueblo, Dolores (Carmel) Cordova, John (Mary) Velasquez, Helen (Tony) Griego, all of Trinidad, Edward (Esther) Velasquez, Aguilar and Joe (Nancy) Velasquez, Lincoln, Neb.

She was a loving, devoted grandmother to all of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews.

She was very devoted to her family and she loved to cook their favorite foods and always had her coffee pot ready to serve a cup of coffee and pastries whenever anyone visited her.

Preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe and Clorinda Velasquez, husband, Trinidad Quintero and brothers Louis and Ernesto Velasquez.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Aguilar, Monday, March 10, 2003 at 10 a.m. Celebrant will be Fr. Phil Courey, C.M. Eulogy at 9:15 a.m. immediately followed by a rosary.

Pallbearers are her grandchildren, Pete Quintero Jr., Jim Quintero, Chris Quintero, Daniel Quintero, Leo Avila Jr., Donald Quintero and Brian King.

The family invites relatives and friends to join them at St. Anthony's Hall following the burial at St. Anthony's Cemetery.
