:)Just reading every ones posting I am sitting here remembering Trinadad as a child. I am 41 year old. when I was little my grandfather Joe lopez took care of the Library. They lived in the little apartment down stairs of the library. I remember the big cement stairs going down to there door, the rose bushes on the lawn around the fence of the library. Does anyone remember the Cigar store? My grandfather would give us each a dime and we would walk across the street from the library to the car wash and buy a pop from the machine for a nickle and they were the cuttest little bottles. Then we would walk around the corner to Main Street, to the Cigar store and by a bag full of candy with a nickle. Back then everyone knew who we were and who my grandparent were. It seem like it all changed when my grandfather passed away. but I guess memories are diffrent when you are a child. but I did love going to Trinadad as a child . Car ride to the top of simson rest. Oh well Just thought I would share some memories. PLEASE SHARE YOUR MEMORIES WITH ME
