Need some Info from Trinidad and surrounding area

Hi,
I'm coming over to the Trinidad area to replace a large commercial clothes dryer in a local hotel.
Need some info before making the trek from CA to CO.

Is there a local supplier for sheet metal venting, working with 16" tube. Would rather order for pick up locally and support local business than haul it with me.

Is there a good (inexpensive as well) rental yard in the area that could rent a fork lift? the dryer is 1400 lbs and 4' x 5'.
I'd rather not move it by hand, don't need more back problems.

Need to get rid of the old dryer, is there someplace near that recycles old steel? or maybe an auto wrecking yard? Maybe someone needs and anchor for their yacht? Free to any home, good bad or otherwise! lol

The dryer manufacturer has also asked me the altitude of Trinidad.
Gas to air mixture has to be correct.
Have looked around and can't seem to find that info.

Thank you for your help.
Grand rental station was one of the ones that came up in a search, but I couldn't tell if they were equipment or party rental, or both.

It sounds like the recycling yard is exactly what I need and close to town too.

I guess I should have looked at the weather page and found the altitude, never thought of that.

Now all I have to do is find the sheet metal, but I can bring that, or pick it up on my way thru Alb/St.Fe.

David...try contacting Al's Gas Service at 719-846-6022. They used to do a lot of it so they should be able to help or direct. Grand has a bit of everything. What you can't find here can be found about 80 miles to the north in Pueblo,CO. Just up I25. If you need help as far as the appliance end locally for some reason...ie...parts you might not end up with when you get here. I would suggest that you contact Mel Williamson at Mel's Refrigeration and Appliance Service at 719-846-3782.
Did you set up a place to stay yet?

Thanks for the further info. Hope I won't need it but...rather have it and not need it than, well, you know.
It seems Pueblo must be about an hour away. Too bad it's to the north instead of the south as I come in.
I could make arrangments.
I told the hotel owner that one of the conditions of the installation was to provide me with a room.
However good cheap food is something that would be good. I'll be tierd of McD's after all day (16 hrs) on the road. Don't want to rely on it while in town.

I hope the hotel is not the Budget Host - pretty lousy business IMHO.
Just got back from Trinidad again and some good restaurants would be Tequila's or El Capitan for Mexican food, Lee's for BBQ, etc. and Wonderful House for Chinese. Not a bad one in the bunch. Most of them are located near each other also.

When here you must try Lee's BBQ. Ask in town and ANYONE will point you there. I don't want to mess with confidentiality but most of the hotels have pretty fair kitchens too. Finding food and libation will be the LEAST of your worries here. Food is faily inexpensive EVERYWHERE here and there is no need to eat fast food unless that is what you crave. We have all the major pit stops here. Plan on higher gas prices and the weather has cooled tremendously already so be ready.

When coming home yesterday from Pueblo it was 299 here and 293 in Pueblo around the hospital.
