Charles Christopher "Chris" Jennings, age 15, died unexpectedly as a result of an automobile accident December 12, 2005. He was born December 31, 1989 in San Diego, CA, to Joseph Greg Jennings and Roxann Margaret Anzelone.
Chris was a student at Branson High School. He attended K-5th grade in Arizona and the 6th grade at Trinidad Junior High. He attended Branson from the 7th grade to the 10th grade. He was a basketball player who enjoyed the game. Some of his other hobbies included working on the computer and helping his brother and sister.
He was an avid Star Wars fan who played the board game. He showed his maturity by helping out at the family store "Ida and Sherry's" where he always insisted on doing the heavy lifting so his mother and grandmother wouldn't have to do the lifting. He also spent time at the arcade and eating at his grandma's house because he thought she was the best cook ever.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmother Agnes Miller. He is survived by his parents Joseph Greg and Sherry Jennings. Brother Andrew Jennings and sister Brandi Jennings. Grandparents Mary and Jerry Jennings and Joe and Ida Spahr and great-grandmother Isabelle Rodriguez. Aunts and uncles Mike and Mary Jennings, Mae Spahr and Jean Paul DeJager, Ron Jennings and cousins Alex, Katie and Connor and many great-aunts and uncles and many, many special friends.
A memorial service will be held Friday, December 16, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor David Cook officiating.
The family has entrusted Mullare-Murphy Funeral Home with the arrangements.
