Finding my "roots"

I am searching for my Grandfather, Augusta
S. Morris. He was a miner that moved to
the Trinidad area, not sure of date. He
married my Grandmother, Bertha A. Wallace
in 1917 in Trinidad. She divorced him
in 1920's. I also found that Bertha's
parents John and Annie Laurie Wallace had
a boarding house where Augusta may have roomed
in Trinidad. I was told the house in
Trinidad was 2 or 3 stories white board house with no trees or no landscaping around it.I do know that Augusta was somehow involved
to get miners to join the union. I do hope someone can help fill
in some blanks.

Fancy meeting you here. I just found this site and started to post a query for him as well. It goes to show how great minds think alike. :)I'm still searching Ancestry.com and may have something on the census. I'll let you know if I find anything.

The guy I talked with in Trinidad said he rmembered
a car dealership many moons ago. He wondered if this
would be any of us>

Hey Sheri,
Well now, that sounds interesting. Do you remember anyone talking about a dealership from the past? That would be interesting to find out. I did send an email about boarding houses to see if there was a list with owners names and addresses. Maybe that will give us some help.
