Afrush, You know I like looking at this kind of information about Trinidad. Thanks. :) [8D]
I'm sure that there are probably others interested too. [8D]
Thank you for the information. I really like the pictures because as you are driving through, it is really hard to see the progress and work being done. Thanks and keep us informed. threelazyl
When I was there they had torn down the pizza hut, train station and the gas station on commercial and pine. They are really moving fast on that construction. I hope they do the same thing to I-25 in Walsenburg and Pueblo, those areas need it bad to.
Well, that gas station has been there a long time. Another gas station we can probably live without. :D But, a Pizza Hut, and train station, probably not. [:0] :D [:p]quote:Originally posted by Afrush

I always thought that the SF/AMTRAK train station was ugly anyway. I hope they build one that has some character. Not just a square building, built out of cinder blocks. [8D]
RRGuy...I am going to make this sticky as folks should have easy access to this at all times for a while....the new train station will go up in around 8 months and we are awaiting a design plan from Amtrak now![8D]:D I do miss Pizza Hut...hope someone opens one up again later.
A small tribute to the past. :D
Building a train station with character doesn't always mean expensive. [8D]
We'll see what it looks like in 8 months. It could also be built with the future of New Mexico's Rail Runner Raton Pass Route in mind. ;) :) [8D]
My Santa Fe resources indicate that a temporary prefab, mobile Amtrak facility has been installed about a block east of the old station. This would put it where the old moorish style Santa Fe staion was located for over 50 years.
