My great aunt and uncle stood up in this wedding. They were Claudio and Maclovia (Vallejos) Aragon. My cousin shared this with my family. The groom is John Barela but we do not know the name of the bride. Maybe someone in this forum knows the name and relationship.
Where was the picture taken, any idea on the date? I have Barela's on both sides of my family.

I am just guessing at my uncles age at about 40 yrs old although he looks older than that in this picture, but that would be around 1931 in my guesstimate. I gave all the info I had knowledge of when I posted the picture. Hoped it would be someone's treasure. My aunt and uncle did live in the area of Raton, N.M. if that helps.

I'll bet Dodie or Pat can answer that question. I too am interested at looking at marriage records from northern New Mexico and southern CO. My great aunt and uncle lived in Mesa Larga, Colfax County, NM.
Hi this is Pat, I haven't been able to find a marriage in Las Animas County Colorado.
If you want to find out abot Raton NM Marriages you have to do one of two things:
1) contact the Church itself.
2) Order the microfilm (FHL #) from your local LDS (Mormon) Church. See below:
