Frank W. Bollinger, 77, passed away at Mt. San Rafael Hospital on April 20,
2010, after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Toledo, Ohio on Dec. 9, 1932, to Iva Mae (Strasser) and Harry F. Bollinger.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1953-1957.
On July 22, 1961, Frank was united in marriage to Elizabeth Julie Baca in Los Angeles.
He was employed as an animal keeper for the City of Los Angeles for several years until his retirement.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and the sport of shooting.
Preceding him in death are parents, Iva Mae and Harry F. Bollinger; and daughter, Jeanne Bollinger.
Survivors are wife, Julie Baca, home address; children, Frank W. Bollinger, Los Angeles, Jane (Mando) Valdez, Starkville; Judy (Ron) O'Donnell, Trinidad; Jennifer (Pete) Valdez, Trinidad; 15 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, with one great-grandchild to be born in June; brothers, Sonny (Jan) Tennyson, Calif.;
Harry F. (Nadine) Bollinger, Calif.; sisters, Flora, Fulton, Calif.; Shirley (Jerry) Dansie, Calif.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Chrystella Weaver, Starkville; Joe Baca, Calif.; Catherine (John) Sandoval, Starkville; Ray Baca, Starkville; Christine Vasquez, Trinidad; Evelyn (Leroy) Valdez, Starkville; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
