Shaune Edward Archuleta, 42, died Saturday, May 26, 2012, at home surrounded by his loving wife and family.

He was born Dec. 5, 1969, in Colorado Springs to Marcelina Donna (Gonzales) and Joseph Edward Archuleta. He attended school at Fountain-Fort Carson High School.

Shaune, affectionately known as Elvis, was a jokester who always had a smile and loved to make others happy. He was a kind, generous man who always put others before himself and helped anyone in need.

He liked to draw, loved music and was a skilled basketball player.

He was united in marriage Oct. 5, 2007, to Linda Neirenger.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Bonafacio and Stella Gonzales; his uncles, Manuel Gonzales and Darrel Gonzales; his cousin, Johnathan Ramos; and many other family members.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; his daughters, Shantel Gerrado and Katlyn Hatch; his son, Lance Hatch; his sister, Bonnie Morrison; his brothers, Lenny Ledford, Lawrence Padilla and Joseph Jaquez; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 4, at Comi Funeral Home followed by private inurnment.
