Nathan Holman, 30, passed away Aug. 7, 2012, in Amarillo.

He was born Nov. 17, 1981, in Clayton, N.M. to Johnny Holman and Rhonda (Medford) Holman. He worked as a cowboy and broke horses for numerous ranchers throughout the area and competed in several rodeos as a bronc rider.

He was preceded in death by his granfather, Weldon Holman, and two grandmothers, Lorene Medford and Leola Crumption.

He is survived by one son, Colby Nathaniel Holman of Clayton, parents Johnny and Rhonda Holman of Sedan, N.M., one brother Opie Lindsey of Texline, Texas, five sisters Dawn Conner and her husband Steven of Blackwell of Oklahoma, Gay Lee Massarotti and her husband Jim of Trinidad, Crystal Jackson of Elgin, Texas, Rayne Arnold of Amarillo and Cora Fields of Pampa, Fla., grandmother Hattie Holman of Amarillo, grandfathers Pete Crumpton of Texline and Bud Medford of Cheyenne Wells, 19 nieces and nephews and four great nieces and great nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Aug. 11, at 1 p.m. at the Trinity Fellowship Church in Clayton with Pastor Alberta Helton of Amarillo officiating.
